Horizon Wellness Centre is committed to ensuring that ALL information provided by our clients, including personal information obtained via our website, are treated with respect, and are kept safe, secure and confidential and used solely for the purpose for which it was supplied.
Outlined below is our policy regarding the protection of client and visitor information:
Security of Personal Information
If the Horizon Wellness Centre site records use of an alias for anonymity, it is entirely at your own risk and the provider will be not be held liable for any consequence whatsoever and all dealings with the client will be entirely at the provider’s discretion, even though ‘Terms & Conditions & Privacy Policy are ticked. You may type in a fake address if you opt for use of an alias. Please also recall that if you use someone else’s credit card, these card details are provided to me and the charge will appear on the credit card statement of the owner of whichever card is used.
Horizon Wellness Centre never exchanges our customer names and addresses with any other 3rd party. We endeavor to ensure the security of personal information and to protect against any loss or misuse of any such information while in our care. The Skype engine has built-in security but there are always the trade-off risks of electronic communication vs. its convenience. If you have subscribed to Skype you are protected by their security policy and may choose to delete or keep your written information to the doctor and direct the doctor to do the same. It is a cloud facility and written information shared via Skype on either the provider’s or client’s computer cannot be stored on or leave an electronic footprint on either hard-drive if erased

A client’s regular emails are protected by his or her chosen email service and our stated Terms & Policy. They are kept on the server till a case is closed or till the client’s instruction that they be removed.
At no time will clients’ details be shared with any 3rd party or any other company that uses the service. The counsellor will maintain the usual client dockets appropriate to all practices except for clients using nicknames. We request personal information for the purposes of maintaining the usual counsellor/client relationship.
NB: The only circumstance where confidentiality may be broken is where it has been indicated that there is a risk of harm to the client or someone else. Horizon Wellness Centre is then required by ethics to seek advice and guidance from other professionals. Your counsellor would discuss this beforehand with the client to obtain consent.
We will NEVER send you an email requesting your credit card details.
Only your email information is located on the Horizon Wellness Centre site for the purposes of contacting you. THIS INFORMATION IS NOT SHARED.

If Horizon Wellness Centre needs to amend its privacy policy for statutory reasons or better business practice, our website will immediately be updated.
